Album: Superbad
Artist: Lil Boosie
Release Date: September 11, 2009
Favorite Songs: Better Believe It, Pain, Mind of Maniac
Least Favorite Songs: Miss Kissin On You
Songs That Could've Been Better: I'm A Dog, Top Notch, Who Can Love You
Superbad is the second album from Baton Rouge rapper, Lil Boosie. This album has dope beats and decent lyrics. The production was the best part of this album with a wide variety of beats. Pretty much all the instrumentals were great. The lyrics were alright. Could've been better but they were decent. Most songs were about being a gangsta and love and some of the songs were deep-ish. Boosie's flow was good also. Lil Boosie separates himself from other southern rappers in the game on this album showing he can make a meaningful song when he wants to. His voice got pretty annoying though and most of the songs sounded the same. The guest appearances were alright with Young Jeezy, Webbie, ect. If you don't mind something with with decent lyrics and you want something fun I suggest this album.

Pretty average record. Boosie has talent - but it's marred by too many different influences
and styles. Recommended Tracks: Mind of a Maniac. Clips and Choppers. Bank Roll.

Bought this CD at the local record store yesterday. It's much more consistent than his last record - Bad Azz, which was released in 2006 - and he did a much better job with the songs with lower BPM than he did on Bad Azz, save the three-in-a-row R&B/sex songs in the middle. However, there aren't as many monstrous tracks, and although that makes for a much smoother listen, it's not as great for the car as you would hope. Still a good album, though.
