Far from a cohesive album, but "Pigeons" proves that Here We Go Magic have a multitude of directions into which they can expand as a full band. "Collector" is a massive single, "Surprise" brings the magic of psychedelic freakouts, and "Old World United" is retro power pop in the best of ways. I hope they tighten up future releases, and limit their occasionally aimless ambient experimentation, but the future seems bright for Here We Go Magic.
