I felt kind of a disappointment when listening to Yanni's recent albums, after "Live at the Acropolis", he lost a bit of why I think I like him: the passion and feeling his music has and what it does to you. His earlier triumph "Keys to Imagination" is aptly named, it is in itself like a key that opens up your mind and makes you dream. You can picture exactly what Yanni wants you to picture even without words, it's actually amazing. "Looking Glass" forces us to take that scary leap and witness the world in a whole new way with its mystifying and curious sound. "Port of Mystery" reminds you of those painful goodbyes you've had to give people, both sad and hopeful. There are also some songs that are the originals of "Live at the Acropolis", my favorite song "Nostalgia" and his most popular "Santorini". Finally, he leaves you with not a soft reflective piece but a fast paced entry into the beyond in "Forbidden Dreams" that is nothing short of perfect. It compliments his message perfectly: at the albums end, the journey is not over, it's never over. Recommended Songs: The North Shore of Matsushima, Looking Glass, Nostalgia, Forbidden Dreams
