Technicial deathcore that stand above the norm. Crushing with a tad melody. See Whitechapel, this is how you make deathcore that isn't boring and sluggish.
for deathcore this is fantastic seeing as its a genre specifically meant to be brutal as hell i hate how people just give poor ratings for it like they listened to it expecting something technical when deathcore as a whole is generally stupidly simplistic as far as music goes perhaps with the exception of drums as for the lyrics i personally think theyre fucking rad same the vocalist hes got some of the best lows ive heard
Fair follow-up with a few standout tracks. But, aside from some cool leads, they really left any other tricks up their sleeves ceding to an overall crushing sound. These guys still bring the heavy on this release, further cementing them as one of the most consistently heavy bands among their peers.
Pulled the emotional heartsrings while pissin me off too. Thoughtful deathcore if you ask me. Most of the time, anyways. It gets a little repetitive but what deathcore doesn't?
I love my junz, I'm the kind of guy that just loves a good breakdown every once in a while. 'Malevolence' is a shallow album, full of overused breakdowns and cliches used again and again throughout the album. Never again will I find myself playing this.
can somebody fucking tell me where the melody is here? ARE YOU ALL FUCKING HIGH?? its just sub-par brutal deathcore with a great vocalist but whatever i totally tapped my girls ass to the beat of Extermination Process's and Damnation: Enslavement's breakdowns and that makes them the standout tracks
Album has it's moments, but for the most part is just plain boring. If you're looking for good crushing deathcore, get Suffocate's new album, way better than this.
to me although it has some good points in the album and has better quality then their trigger the bloodshed album, it is still kinda boring, i respect them for keeping the music coming, i just think that the breakdowns could be a little more diverse. still a good album
