I am loving this album. rI had heard the song "Less Talk" and figured this would be an Indie type album but to my surprise found it to be a sort of Electro-Dance Rock album. rMan, am I enjoying this. I just wish I knew about it sooner. rYou can pick this up for around $5 brand new on eBay if you're looking for an inexpensive way to check it out. (I'm sure you all have other methods for this though.)
I actually got this album by mistake, but I can honestly say that I like this release better (once I found that the band was from Kansas City Missouri I had to smile being from the state myself). I don't know how to best describe Queens Club, at times you'll be reminded of The Killers when they were in they're hay day and at others you'll find yourself drawing comparisons between them and more rock oriented bands with synth thrown in for good measure. I recommend dropping by their myspace and giving this a listen, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
