Seen live (quite good tho, catchy and dynamic) but the problem is that, when you give a listen to one random song on the album, then you have listened the whole album..rStill pleasant.
It's really quite cute. I was expecting something leaning more towards alternative rock so I was surprised to find them quite poppy. It's an uplifting album with some fillers, but also a few gems, such as 'Something Good Can Work' and 'Undercover Martyn'. Couldn't get much out of the first songs but I liked it better as I kept listening. I'll give it a listen whenever I'm in the mood.
this is what tokyo police club's newest album was supposed to sound like, minus the all-too-familiar vocals, of course. other than that this is an upbeat indie rock jam that's hard to dislike. do you like bloc party? how about franz ferdinand? foals? phoenix? we are scientists? vampire weekend? surely you can't hate them. shit. you'll probably like this
