SO MUCH better than anything Carnifex has put out before. This CD is more death metal than deathcore. The breakdowns are a lot more sparse and the production slays. Awesome progression.

i gave it another listen and realized it was way better than i rated it. deserves a higher score for being one of the coolest deathcore albums of recent memory.

An enormous step forward from their last album. Amazing mood throughout the play, great
vocals, a bad ass chug fest. Hell Chose Me is everything you could ask for as a Deathcore
aficionado, if you're not looking for anything too technical or intriguing.

It's certainly a notch above average deathcore, Carnifex have redeemed themselves in a lot of senses. Especially after what a terrible album the last was.
