Afu Ra is a MC characterized by his affiliation with Jeru Da Damaja and his kung fu influences that are even more direct than the Wu-Tang. His voice is nasally and annoying, and his lyrics are mostly the same kind of 'self-aware' gibberish that invades this kind of rap, but the production and Afu Ra's general sense of what's going on saves this record from hip hop mediocrity.
