Napoleon Dynamite, with a little help from famed Beatles producer, crafts his personal "Abbey Road". Fully versed in pop, he proves to those who might have doubted him, that he belongs on the highest songwriting pedestal, right up there with the all-time greats. The sound is rich and riddled with horns, strings, pianos, harpiscords and accordions. The Attractions sound tighter than ever before, giving the record classicist english pop feel (Bruce Thomas is the man). Every song is a carefully constructed gem, but out of them all, "Man Out Of Time" probably shines the brightest, it's beauty pushing you towards crocodile tears.... Or is that "You Little Fool"? EC at his popiest best.
