Insane that the guy from the Fallon Show dropped one of the best albums of 2022! Bad jokes aside, this album just comes off so natural and effortless. All of the guest spots just seem to land at the right time and suit the tracks so well with each guest just bringing their own flavor and feel. Out of left field for me but at the same time 2022 was such an amazing year for hip hop that I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Belize and The Darkest Part are amazing!

I was So SO ready for a 4.5, I was LOVING this shit man, but it just lost its momentum in the second half. LOVED the DOOM feature, and production is just about as stellar as you know it should be, but man did I laugh at the line ?you aint shit you fucker, barely even a fart?. That was probably the 0.5 it lost honestly.

Two top dawgs pairing up to offer an old-school boom bap album - guess what? It's great, Mouse's production being both warm and fuzzy, while Black Thought continues to show how good of a rapper he is. However, despite the constant quality, very few tunes manage to *hit* as much as their potential hinted at. Also idk if I need hip hop that sounds like that in 2022.
