Very good funeral doom with an abyssal production reminiscent of Disembowelment or Thergothon, sure to thrill doom enthusiasts who should be already already familiar with it. Although the album taken holistically is technically a failure due to the excessive length and overall scarcity of ideas presented, individual songs are magniloquent dirges possessing purpose and weight, employing the compositional techniques known to this style with an appropriate sense of dynamics and atmosphere.

A lot better than their debut, but still drags on without going anywhere in particular. I know, I know, this is funeral doom metal and isn't really supposed to go anywhere, but it doesn't grip me like Antithesis of Light does. Moments of brilliance, but ultimately only slightly above average.
