From beginning to end, this album is the mecca of the neo-soul movement. Blessed with a wonderful falsetto, he also plays all the instruments, produces all the songs (including his own harmonies), and turns sex into music. rHis whole concept isn't groundbreaking in the slightest; but he certainly does it extremely well. Fusing a slight hip-hop feel and old school soul, his sound is very listenable. The album as a whole sounds very polished and should please any fan of R&B. D'angelo is truly one of the more underrated artists of our time.r
