An unusual combination of heavy metal, mainstream rock and grunge with progressive tendencies. Michael Couts is the next guitar hotshot, and his angsty baritone is a surprising style in this field. Mind Control is somewhat homogeneous for its lengthy running time, and more attention to detail and craft is desirable, but this is a respectable heavy/prog metal effort.
