Ingrid's Girls & Boys was a good album, but sometimes caught in a bit of an uncomfortable mix of intimate indie and mainstream pop. Here on Everybody, Michaelson goes for more hooks while keeping the arrangements from falling into blandness. Check out folky "The Chain" and "Sort Of," and the sweeping power pop of "Mountain And The Sea."
