Interesting to note in Windows Music player the 2003 Celldweller CD was labeled as "Metal". The 2011 (2009) version is labeled as "Dance & DJ". Not sure how Klayton feels about that, but I have to agree with it. This new material is not quite as heavy. It's still good, and interesting. But in my opinion not up to the level of the older stuff. And even though Klayton is now 7 years older, his new music appears to be targeting a younger audience. EDIT: By the time this is fully released I will likely change my rating to a 3.5 or a 4.
So many genres! While the lyrics in some songs may be a but cheesy (the lucky one, tainted...) the album as a
whole is superb. Not perfect, but definitely a superb album. Best tracks are eon, I can't wait, birthright, the best
it's gonna get and Unshakeable.
