The easiest way to describe City of Ships' Look What God Did To Us is saying it's the post-metal version of Thrice. Basically take all the heavy and brooding moments that creeped out on Vheissu and inject a healthy amount of Rosetta-esque post-metal nirvana. Easily in my top 5 of 2009.
