Manages to be so atmospheric that it's almost shoegazey, it's USBM, and it's still kvlt as fvck. HOW IS THIS HAPPENING? But no you really need to listen to this.
An atmospheric masterpiece in the form of a dark ambient/depressive black metal project from the US. Although Enmerkar does borrow heavily from Burzum and Alcest here, they've somehow managed to make the music their own. A mild shoegaze sound is evident on this release, no doubt inspired by their influences. Some listeners might be dissuaded by the repetitious nature of the atmosphere, but if you are attracted to such sonicscapes and if you are looking for some inescapably dark music, then this is for you.
