Hey, it's no Melody A.M., but I'm sure pairing Junior with the soon-to-be-released Senior
will pull in the audiences from not only their first release, but also the audience that was
formed with The Understanding, as it seems they are bringing both styles to the table this
time around.
I don't have an issue with bands changing their style. I really liked The Understanding, despite the fact that it was pretty far removed from the sexiness of Melody A.M. I don't even mind them going a bit more mainstream. But this is just so bland, so dainty, so - dare I say it - commercial! It's the type of thing you'd dance outside in the daisies on a summer's day. It's pleasant enough and it's pretty, but it's not something I'd have a serious listen to.
