It's just crazy the kind of lengths these guys would go in order to prove a point(or try). In case you didn't know, this... "Album" was made in order to parodize concept albums(more or less anyway), this is because JT's previous album, 'Aqualung', was called a concept album by critics, something that Ian Anderson, the band's singer, strongly opposes to this day. It's weird, to this day i still don't understand what was his point with this. Was he trying to show the critics something about what is and what isn't a concept album, making a song with based around one concept the entire album, or was he just wanking to his songwriting ability? whatever, this "album" stills kicks plenty of ass regardless of the reasons behind it. It's long, yes, and theres no way you'll get the full experience without hearing it completely, and admitedly i found myself a bit disinterested at certain times, but the good moments more than made up for them. It's an album that, i think, most people who give it the time to really shine, will love it.
