Karate is a supercool band. Everytime I listen to Karate, I don't know it makes me feel cool. Like I could sweep a pretty gal off her feet as I seductivly inhale on a Camel cigarette (without coughing my lungs out). There's a wonderful balence on 'Pockets' between Karate's jazzy ass kicking side and the band's more experiamental, understated side. Plus, man can Geoff Farina play a guitar (the rythmn section are no slouches either).
