Although Cannibal Corpse are one of the most, if not the most famous death metal band in the world, I seldom here any CC worship these days. This album sounds like a tribute to CC, and a damn fine one at that!

Pretty good OSDM, with a little cleaner production from what we are used to on all these new acts (Tomb Mold, BI etc). Riffs for days, although I wish this had more tracks like Tombs of Chaos.

Extremely well done OSDM. No murky production, no pretension, only brutal riffing, ripping solos and highly enjoyable songwriting. You'll headbang, you'll piss your pants, and you'll hit play again when this album is over, guaranteed.

Comparing this to Blood Incantation is a weird choice, as they are high-minded prog influenced DM & this is clearly an ode to the more visceral, brutal style of DM coming out in the late 80's/early 90's. And they do it well to boot! Need more listens to solidify a rating but this is good!

These dudes continue leading the pack of OSDM revival/worship acts and beat out modern
genre favorites like Blood Incarnation and Tomb Mold with ease. Suffocation and
Pestilence fans would be wise to check this one out.
