She is definitely a talented woman, but most of the album just wasn't for me. It feels kind of like a fantasy novel, but not one I overly enjoy. I have nothing but respect for Bat For Lashes, and admire her artistry, but it is not a personal favourite.

the first time i ever heard this album was in my boyfriends grandparents house. super old styled house alll old wood flooring and everything, the acoustics in it were amazing everything was silent except a few creaks of the floors boards and this album. just so beautiful and peacefully very calming album. And her voice alone was amazing.
