Nostalgic value. More of a 3.5-4 on its best day but the melodies on here inspired me to get back into instrumental music. I remember when Candy Rat guys were all I listened too, and the truth is this guy is the most talented one.
These are beautifully crafted arrangements and the production is lovely however this feels more like jam noodling (although very good) than actual songs which combined with a lack of vocals leads to monotony. One song sounds like any other.
Antoine Dufour is an exception in brilliant freestyle guitarist league and ever since he has leaped into the candy rat bandwagon, he has not producing some of the finest sounds you can make out of that hollow body.
