I'll defend Multiply and Divide, but there ain't no defending this.
As bad as I expected. Only memorable portions are the opening synth line on "Beautiful People" which then devolves into mediocre nonsense and the closing track BLOW which is honestly pretty solid. Sheeran's vocals during the first verse are pretty great, shame that the entire album holds Sheeran back in order to give spotlight to all of the featured artists which at most times clash in the worst possible way with Sheeran's folk-pop performances. Production is flat and the songwriting mostly devolves to modern pop cliches that simply do not work.

I guess everything has been said about this album, so I will sum it up in three words: Lack of Imagination.rI usually listen to albums that I think I might like in many genres, but trying to hear this has been difficult. It's so repetitive and so one-dimensional that Justin Bieber's Baby doesn't seem so bad (although this is my opinion). I don't think it's worth buying the album unless you're a collector, a fan or a masochist.

No.6 is not surprisingly a very bad album. Here you will not find any identity specific to Ed, but only a vampirization and a very embarrassing cultural appropriation for a very disastrous transformation. If casting is a dream (besides the guests are rarely disappointing, except for a few horrors... for example the title of Eminem and 50 Cent), Ed Sheeran adds up the catastrophic performances. When we look back at these previous albums, for example, there was ED in ED's music, with sometimes interesting "sung" interpretations. On this one, you'll hear him humming pre-made melodies without interest and you'll have to put up with his omnipresent rap, which will eventually drive you crazy (if you're in love with rap). How can a country like England adulate and defend to death an artist like this one, when they saw the birth of the Beatles, The Rolling Stones or David Bowie there...

Yikes on bikes, I'm honestly being generous with my rating here because I haven't
disliked a single record Ed's put out prior but this thing is just a bunch of soulless
radio fodder.
