This record deserves a 2.7 rating IMHO.... The poppy songs are rather weak and cliche. The dark ones, like
'Bulletproof' or title track are quite interesting... till you realize that they're just Bjork rip-offs. Maybe it's not bad per
se, but if I wanted to listen to Bjork-like songs, I would listen to the original artist...
'Love is Dead' needs more darkness and originality.
A surprisingly convincing combination of Alice in Wonderland-style gothics and Bjorky, eccentric pop. Rest
assured, this sounds/tastes nothing like Evanescence. Imperfect, but tasteful and ambitious.
