Cave In explores their suddenly exposed alternative side even more with "Antenna." The band seems to be aiming for a spacier sound more than anything else and the quality of the whole album can sometimes slouch because of it. However, Cave In still creates a catchy, moving, and concept-driven album that proves to be another interesting addition to their diverse discography.
Great musicianship, but mind-numbingly formulaic. The band's skill is self-evident, but each and every song is nothing but the same mildly progressive alt-rock song. Nothing about this album makes me want to set this band apart from the hundreds of other new-prog rockers out there. 2.7/5
