Isolation encapsulates hopelessness, and the accompanying lashing out at your surroundings as a physical fight-response. More than a solid effort, Carpathian have become a huge inspiration for me and a band I turn to when in dire need of like-minded souls. The choruses are immense and the sheer anger is honest. An album to remember.
While not bad at all, Carpathian's Isolation is far too bland to be of much consideration. The album is solid, but there's nothing here that hasn't been done better elsewhere. Guest vocals by JD of Shipwreck Ad and Patrick Flynn of Have Heart add a bit of flair, but Isolation falls short in spite of those few good tracks.
