Capital Lights does a pretty decent job at compiling a album that will sell. Though they are more classified under the pop/punk genre this may be one album you'll listen to again. On top of that they are a Christian genre. And though that may make some people shy away from them, you can't really tell its a Christian band to begin with. The cd starts with the song "Outrage." It doesn't disappoint in the least bit. From the moment it starts you find yourself into it. With a softer track like "Mile Away" you may just want to click back to listen to it again. They have a flawless mixture and add a piano to top it off. When you hear it, it just seems the vocalist belongs right away. He does a good job not to stray away from his range like some new pop/punk vocalists like to do. Then towards the end you hear a track titled "The Night of Your Life Is When You'll Die" you realize just how good the lyrics are. They aren't pointless words written down. And they seem to be sung with meaning, unlike Simple Plan. Over all, if your into the pop/punk genre this is a band you should defiantly give a listen to, It's that whole blend of everything that just makes it good. Maybe not great, but good.
