Sure, this release is not as harsh or "brute" as their first, but it is equal in sonic devastation to the hardcore scene. Rising above the cliche structure of (heart-filled) hardcore, these dudes defy even their contemporaries in the genre and create dark, intense, but most importantly, careless hardcore. At times these songs sound flat or dragging, but overall the album kicks.

Elysia hates you. This band had to grown on me but i am sorry box of needles is a good song. decent CD. Fans of Blacklisted and Century pick this up.

I picked this up randomly one day and it's grown on me. Out of the 9 tracks, about 5 are very good, and the others are bland as any deathcore outfit. They don't use those generic open chord breakdowns much and there is actually nice moments of groove. The vocalist can get annoying, not because he's terrible, but because he lacks range.
Good album, nothing spectacular though.

The sound quality is terrible, its not very interesting...just sounds like a whole lot of noise that doesnt fit well together. At least Masochist sounded like it was music and not just random parts being thrown together. And Zac vocals are lame too.

This album is so much better than Masochist, and really breaks off that whole simple breakdown, tough guy bullshit attitude that a lot of people seem to portray them as. This album pretty much punches all fat dudes with the Acacia Strain t-shirts in the face. I recommend it
