I wouldn't actually call it a classic, but this is Eminem's best album. Lyrically, Eminem is usually top notch. The thing that separates this album from the LPs is Em's courage to separate himself from the rest of mainstream hip-hop. Following the success of Marshall Mathers Em could have easily kept up his shock oriented Slim Shady ego, but he utilizes his already unquestionable street cred to get into deeper, more personal issues as seen in Cleaning Out My Closet, Hailley's Song, Superman, and others. Em's natural charisma and ability + positivity = masterpiece.

Same old Eminem CD that when you hear the lyrics you think he is the smartest emcee ever . With singles like 'Without Me' he brings his funny side shine. With more songs like 'Cleanin' Out My Closet' his serious side comes out . All in all the album is just terrific my favorite of him so far . The sound quality is amazing , hooks and lyrics are clever as always. This album you get what you expect really clever lyrics and just about every song as what it takes to top the charts. With features from less talked about artist/group like Obie Trice and D-12 the album is still one of the best of all time and of all genres of music. This is an album were Eminem talks less about gays unlike his two prior albums and more about his home issue like his daughter and his relationship with his wife . Eminem still brings his comedy with songs likes 'Drips' and even skits titled 'Steve Berman' and 'Paul Rosenberg', that features both men putting the album down and one of them resulting with Eminem shooting the man. The album is 100% amazing and my best advise is to buy it as soon as possible because you will get your moneys worth.

don't wanna listen to this again. white america was an alright song. this album reminds me of a school trip i had and an old friend. but yeah there aren't many stand out tracks and the rhyming isn't as reaction provoking as the older stuff.

exponentially less hilarious and provocative than the first 2 major label albums (especially the mmlp), but there's still no denying em's flow and lyrical complexity. i commend him for trying to step up and self-produce a good number of tracks on here, but i find em's production pretty bland.
