So with this, 3/8 bands on the Blue Swan roster have a member of DGD in them.

Wolf & Bear could be easily described as a DGD clone. They are on Blue Swan after all. Even though I would argue that they are the most DGD sounding band on the record label, they're also easily the most talented. There is serious variety and skill towards their music. It definitely doesn't sound like a DGD record even if there are occasional glimpses and respectful nods.

As incredible as this is, it feels like a Dance Gavin Dance clone. There are moments when they seem to do their own thing and then realize it's not what Dgd would do and just go back. I will be watching this band though because they have the potential to be absolutely incredible. This would be a 4 if it felt like they experimented a little more.rEdit: So I didn't know about Blue Swan or Swancore and I get the appeal now. It fucking rulesr
