'Ready To Rock', the independently released debut by AC/DC worshippers Airbourne, is a simple, derivative, formulaic, overlong & repetitive mess that sorely lacks decent production. Filled with ridiculous lyrics, this is the type of music that would work better live at the local pub after a beer or nine. Joel O'Keefe is both the band's main strength & weakness since his guitar riffs & solos are acceptable, but his mundane - almost deadpan - vocal delivery removes much of the energy required by hard rock. Recommended Tracks: When The Girl Gets Hot (The Love Don't Stop) & Stand and Deliver.
