really disappointed to see how overlooked and underrated these guys have been, at least on sputnik. Voyages Towards Abhorrence, while fairly straightforward, showcased great songwriting with the most obvious influences coming from Immolation, Morbid Angel, and Suffocation. Continuum of Absence showed the beginnings of a more dissonant sound influenced by the likes of Gorguts and Ulcerate. this album basically starts where Continuum ended. theyve upped the dissonance and added some progressive flairs. they have yet to create a masterpiece, but i feel they may have one in them. so far, they have an extremely solid discography. each album has its own flavor and i would recommend all of them.

Struggles to keep its own ambitions in check, dabbling with a surplus of ideas but refusing to commit to any of them. It's periodically entertaining, but too unfocused to make an impression.
