Can't lie, this is just really nice to the ears a lot of the time. Some riffs come off a little core, and the vocals are more like your typical whiney post-black band. But with a lot of the good stuff on display here (nice saxophone sections wtf), the vocals strangely become more tolerable.

I like this quite much. Atmospheric and dark, somewhere between black and post black. The sax blends in very well in those harsh passages and adds another layer to the well thought out music. But this also is somewhat a weird album for me: I usually love experimentation and genre mix but this album would be a lot better if it stuck to it's strengths. The (few) acoustic sax passages sound rather random like porn background music, the electronic parts are out of place and rather outdated and the metalcore riff in the second song is also not adding to the experience... But luckily those are just some parts and mostly it is the great album as described above.
