A quintessential piece of contemporary jazz music, Chuck Mangione's 1977 masterpiece, Feels So Good shows an amazing understanding of what people want. Casual listeners will be impressed by a mastery of instruments all around the board while jazz enthusiasts will marvel at the hidden gems lying around the album in time signatures and overall musicianship. If not for its songwriting, than for its beauty, Feels So Good is an incredible album for fans of jazz near and far, regardless of genre preferances.
The music sits around a lot and isn't necessarily the most progressive thing ever played, but who really cares when it Feels This Good? My 100% go to album for headaches or stress. This guy was hardcore chillin' and it translated over to his music beautifully - just look at the album cover lol. Vibes like your first day on a tropical vacation, stepping off the plane that just landed in Bermuda. An absolute must listen for any avid jazz fan.
