This concept album/band who think they are Mega Man actually have something to offer. Its kinda progressive epic and humorous but it's like a rock opera with a story so it keeps you interested. Imagine if Pink Floyd The Wall had a baby with the Mega Man soundtrack thats what it is :D
Being a Mega Man fan, I found out about this a few years ago and listened to it. Now, years later, I checked it out again to see what I'd think, and it still blew me away again. The story of the album diverges from the games and takes it in a darker direction, but I like it anyway.
Because it's just purely epic! It turns the almost story-less Mega-Man games into an epic story of revenge, along with sweet guitars and great singing.
This was actually quite good. Obviously a bit silly with it's Mega Man espousing lyrics, but yeah... kind of good. The likes of 'III: The Will Of One' and 'VI: Sons Of Fate' are genuinely entertaining in their 8-bit metal opera madness. The stomping clean guitar funk of 'IIB: Unrest In The House Of Light' is also fun. Not a classic, or anything, but diverting for five minuets none-the-less.
