Enjoyable album that blends classic neo-progressive musical structures (IQ comes to mind), heavier parts and even some Muse glimpses. It's not an original piece of work but the smart arrangements and Stuart Nicholson's passionate performance help to make "Empire Never Last" a very enjoyable listening experience.
