I think The Acacia Strain really stepped it up on this album with better songwriting. I liked their first release a lot but it lacked good songwriting and got kind of boring, but this album is a short and not so sweet package of anger filled screams and beating instrumentals. This release shows great promise from this group.
3750 in my opinion is The Acacia Strain's defining album, the one that really set them forth into their career. While the junz still remain, there is a more melodic side to the bands deathcore approach, working so well in their favor. Here is a prime example of an angry band, and it's impossible to not feel their anger while listening to them.
A necessary step in the right direction for The Acacia Strain, 3750 takes off like no other album and the first track alone; Carbomb, truly examines what an intro song should sound like. If you like brutal with a healthy dose of violence then you have to experience this album.
