Self described as a "neo-classical electronic band", I came across this album quite at random and was rather impressed by its strongly cinematic, atmospheric tone. This group seems fond of cheesy big band synth stabs here, which is worrying (these never work) but I have to say their inclusion on Koda is perhaps the only legit use of them I have ever heard. There is a strong emphasis on highlighting space between sound for maximum effect, I really love the production and musical elements here. I can't get past those stabs sometimes, however. Need to hear more of this group.
