Not a single bad track. Probably THE best sound I've heard from a metal band. The flow is perfect, constantly balls-to-the-wall metal without overdoing the aggression. I can't find a single thing wrong with this record.
From beginning to end, The Last Kind Words is a cerebral mammoth unwilling to make any halts or abrupt transitions. Dez Fafara's vocals have sure come a bit of a way after his tenure with the mediocre Coal Chamber, and the instrumentation couldn't be anymore fitting for this Devildriver release.
This album delivers awesome metal right down your ears. Not a single boring song. From first to last, you get screams, roarings, guitars, bass and double bass-drums all blended together to create a brutal mixture you can't listen but at highest volume possible on your sound system. Put it on repeat even better!
