My, how they have fallen. This might actually be worse than "Say Hello to Tragedy." Terrible album showing an uninspired band that wrote an album based on what is trendy right now. Extremely disappointing.
"Ghost Empire" is a great example of what happens when a band wants to shove far too many seemingly great ideas into one mold and strugglkes to create something cohesive and consistent. Seriously, there are elements of Deathcore, Djent, AltRock, Indistrial Metal, Emo, and Caliban's trademark Metalcore. Guys, please pick one or two styles of music instead of mixing too many genres at once.
I've heard these guys before, but I don't really remember them. This album, though, is pretty cool. It's kind of a metalcore/djent hybrid with some cool effects and occasional industrial parts. To be honest, it kind of reminds me of the latest album by Still Remains.
