Basically, they got more gothic, more industrial, and heavier. They're losing some of the shoegazey parts in favor of some crushing drones that still hit, just not as hard.

Have a Nice Life's sophomore album is no less cathartic than their enigmatic debut. The structural similarity is uncanny between the two records, however, if one can even truly clearly define the common structural traits of Have a Nice Life. If I can tell some differences (in progress or otherwise, up to anyone's opinion, really), it's that the sound often goes even deeper into the lo-fi fuzz, multi-layered song-writing and cryptic lyricism.

The beginning of the album as well as the last track are really awesome, rest is k. I prefer Sea of Worry over this.

I actually really liked the beginning of the album. The textures in this album are actually pretty cool, right away. After the first few songs nothing really grabs my attention.

I don't love the whole thing, but at its best, this record has momentum, and at points it can really hit you square in the chest. Cropsey is the example that best fits that description, I think.
