Fail Emotions has always been a band able to make BOTH the metal and electronic elements in their music well-thought out and technical. Their latest release, Gravity, exemplifies this balance and is an expansion of both of their previous releases, taking the key elements that made Transfornation and Speed of Light successful. The progressive sound structures and djent sound from Speed of Light is brought into a melting pot with Transfornation's catchiness and produce something that is very close to an ideal sound for them. With a little tweaking the sound could easily cement itself as a masterpiece in future releases.

Gravity sounds great, perfectly integrating various EDM genres with a well rounded "progressive" hardcore sound, showing that it is possible to please the hardcore crowd and scene kids alike, as well as fans solely of the various EDM genres.r

Fail Emotions is the one trancecore band out there that can be taken even slightly seriously but unfortunately Gravity is a huge step down from the band's previous material. It's chock full of cheap dubstep and chopped up vocal samples, transforming it into another one of those dime-a-dozen releases.
