Very similar to Born and Raised, which was just as disappointing. I used to be excited when the new John Mayer album was being released. Not anymore. Do what you're good at John.

Decent effort by Mayer as he continues with another country style album. Most of the good songs are concentrated around the first half of it. Recommendations: ''Dear Marie'', ''Paper Doll'', ''Call Me The Breeze''

Solid album from an artist who is really trying to branch out and explore everything he has
to offer. Continuum truly is one of the greatest albums, post 2000. The artistic energy
really isn't at the same level; quite honestly, nowhere near it.

Could John possibly sound more bored with his own material? I'm all for pursuing new artistic directions, but when you're not even excited about it why should your listeners be? It's even more disappointing knowing he can write songs like Gravity and Neon.

Like a combination of Eric Clapton and Willie Nelson, with more of the latter. Still doesn't live up to Continuum or Born & Raised. Great album though
