I really like this album and it is catchy hell. The only song I don't care for is Back on the Ground because of its cheesy lyrics and its potential to be played in elevators and supermarkets.

This has 2 or 3 really good songs where you can hear Peter Wichers input the rest is forgetable and the lyrics are cheesy as fuck. I give it a 3 cause im a good guy.

A very catchy, dare I say Pop-Metal, album. Song structures are very basic and there is nothing mind blowing on the album, however, it is well written and accessible. Worth your time if you like your prog very poppy and catchy.

I'll have to give it some more listens but my initial impression is that it isn't as exciting or catchy as Static Impulse. Some good songs but also several generic ones.

Is LaBrie really that bored of Dream Theater? How could his newest solo album sound better than before?? Someone please explain this.
|3.5 great||Dan Phillips | July 27th 13|
This has some good-great songs and is overall solid and LaBrie gives a great melodic performance, but it just lacks balls... Some of the lyrics are way to sugary for me and it unfortunately goes for a more mainstream sound overall. It's worth a shot though (especially if you liked Static Impulse).
