Solid and bouncing first album for a rising electronic duo. Vocals are omnipresent and
remind me a little bit of Basement Jaxx. Bring this album to the beach like a fresh drink
and enjoy it under the bright sun.
Good album and is very catchy. I can't stop listening to this, but I can't really say that Disclosure is going out of their way to do anything different with this release. I can say that few people care because none of us can stop shaking our asses!
The songs released before are by far the best on the album and are exactly catchy dance music should be. When Disclosure aren't relying on vocal guests, they instead use looped samples and progress and slightly change them throughout the track. While there is nothing wrong with this formula, the heavy use of repetitive samples can become increasingly frustrating with further listens, as Disclosure keep resorting to the same old tricks. Overall it's an enjoyable, but dissapointing release.
