Fun songs to keep a Pop/Synthpop feel that is throughout the album unlike the debut, and involves less experimentation. The last few songs are not noteworthy. A few surprising Dance oriented tracks that makes Empire of The Sun show they can grow in time, equipment wise and sound wise.
A few tracks are exhilarating, catchy and pleasing to hear all around and a shoutout to the hauntingly moody "I'll Be Around". Just as "Alive" and "Concert Pitch" are the feel good jump and dance anthems, "Celebrate" sounds like the rebellious love child of Daft Punk's "One More Time" & "Digital Love" with all it's upbeat charm. But many tracks don't live up to the LP's expectations that's overly long and feels uninspired like half of the great tracks on here.rRecommended Tracks: "DNA", "Alive", "Concert Pitch", "Ice on the Dune", "I'll Be Around", "Celebrate"
