songs 2,3,4 and 5 are all lacking. The harsh vocals become tiresome quickly and the music is just plain boring at times. However, Acceptance and The Lost are two of the bands best songs.

Facedowncoooooore, j/k this might be good cuz every other god fearing band is on fire right now.

The person who rated this album 2.5 is just a idiot. How can you complain about too much great instrumentation? Are you serious. This album is almost flawless (drumming could have been better). This is a future classic if you ask me. Challenger for metal album of the year. The vocals are beautiful when they need to be and raw when necessary, they fit the music very well. You are just an idiot plain and simple!

The problem with this band is that they essentially noodle on their instruments for the
entire lengths of their albums. This is quite well written in some spots and the guitar work
is awesome, but by the time the end comes you're just sick of it. It loses any impact it
initially had and becomes tiresome.

Also the vocals don't fit the music and the cleans are shit.

The muscianship on this album is the finest you'll hear from the Facedown roster. HFTD more than improving their instrument playing they have matured in their song writing and production choices. Rather than minutes of inflated orchestra and keys as on Dissimulation, Aletheia keeps the stringed section to a minimum. Vocals have always been powerful, but not until Aletheia has there really been any range. Perhaps my only problem with the album is the drumming. It's never really more than a time keeping device which is very dissappointing considering the amazing guitar and progressive elements present.

Similarly sounding album to the last, but with improved song-writing. Very catchy and technical.
