The undisputed kings of experimental acoustic avant-garde free jazz mangumcore progressive grindcore sea shanty USA do it once again.

This EP will captivate you in its raw wild energy and seemingly spontaneous composition, which will have it remain unique in many ways for years to come--as an EP. The DBC obviously have something big coming this way (and I, for one, am wearing high heels on my feet and floor wax on my eyelids while searching through tic-infested grass for non-poisonous, non-psychedelic mushrooms and discarded celery on an hourly basis in frantically euphoric bipolar anticipation).

BREADHEART--YOUR MAGIC SCHOOLBUS BRINGS 0% GLUCOSE WHEAT AND OAT TO THOSE WHO ARE INTOLERANT OF GLUCOSE, AND THE SWEETEST, MOST FATTENING AND SALTY OF DECADENT DOUGHS--ALL WITHOUT SWEETENING, FAT, OR SALT--TO THE DIABETIC
EUCHARISTIC THINGS WERE THE FOODSTUFFS WE INITIALLY WOULD SUP,
BUT AS OF LATE, YOUR BAND, CARRIED BY THEIR HEART OF BREAD, HAS FED US PAGES OF EXQUISITE SHEET MUSIC THROUGH OUR EAR HOLES

Intentionally crappy music a la fresh beatZ, but, unlike most fresh beatZ, this stuff isn't funny.

Where oh where did these guys come from? What are their goals in life that they have the desire to achieve? These are just two questions surrounding the project known as The Delicious Bread Collection. Now from a musical standpoint, many will argue the quality of this EP entitled Tales from the Yeast Side; they'll spend countless hours complaining about the lack of subtlety and effort, and then the folks will begin to hate wheat in many of its shapes and forms, especially bread. But bear in mind that bread itself does whatever it can to make you feel satisfied with life, starting by absorbing the obnoxious amount of alcohol within the body. This black sheep of a release might not be revolutionary nor civilized, though I can definitely say that it'll age incredibly well as the years pass. It would totally help since the content on Tales from the Yeast Side is very far from inedible.

★★ I formerly had a soundoff for this album, but Sputnik doesn't let you delete soundoffs, so I
replaced the soundoff with this. Check out my new account, EasterInTheBatcave, for all of my
soundoffs and reviews, including the one for this album. ★★
