3.5 great | NikkiAngelus | June 12th 16 | While Wednesday 13 is still first and foremost about having fun, he has also written an album full of hard-hitting riffs and came up with more creative ways to overuse the F-word. Not only is Dixie Dead a move towards a heavier, even more guitar oriented direction, it also happens to be hysterically funny.rAs a guitar player, one of the best things about this album for me is the guitar work! Bloodsucker and Hands of the Ripper are prime examples of a cool riff and Roman Surman has nailed a couple of cool solos here and there as well.
